Aka Akasaka is the author and illustrator of the Kaguya Sama: Love is War manga series, which was initially published. In May 2015, it debuted as a chapter in the Seinen Manga published by Shueisha. April 2021 marked the conclusion of the manga.
The anime’s first season debuted in January 2019 and ran until March 2019, when it was concluded. A second season started airing in April 2020 and lasted until June 2020. A third season began airing in April 2022 and continued until June 2022 before coming to an end. The year 2019 saw the release of a live-action anime film in Japan.
Miyuki Shirogane, elected president of the Student Council at Shuchiin Academy, and Kaguya Shinomiya, elected vice president, are the protagonists in the tale Kaguya Sam: Love is War. Alongside them are Chika Fujiwara, the student council secretary, and Yu Ishigami, the treasurer of the student council.
Since they first met, Kaguya and Miyuki have secretly harbored feelings for one another, yet none willing to acknowledge it to the other. They want the other person to come to clean first!
After then, both sides have been competing to outdo one other and force the other to admit guilt.
The 2019 anime series Kaguya-sama: Love Is War is adapted from the manga series of the same name written and drawn by Aka Akasaka. The manga series was published in Japan. On June 1, 2018, Shueisha announced the anime television series adaptation. Mamoru Hatakeyama and Yasuhiro Nakanishi were responsible for the show’s writing, while A-1 Pictures was responsible for the animation.
Character designs were done by Yuuko Yahiro, while Jin Aketagawa was in charge of sound direction, and Kei Haneoka was the one responsible for the series’ musical composition. The series’ first episodes were shown on MBS, Tokyo MX, BS11, GTV, GYT, CTV, and TeNY between January 12 and March 30, 2019. The total number of episodes in the series was 12.
The opening theme music for the series is titled “Love Dramatic feat. Rikka Ihara,” performed by Masayuki Suzuki, Rikka Ihara, and Yoshiki Mizuno. The closing theme song for the series is titled “Sentimental Crisis,” and Halca performs it.
The series is now available to watch online on Crunchyroll, Hulu, and Funimation after being purchased by Aniplex of America for distribution in North America.

The second season of Kaguya-sama: Love Is War will premiere in 2020 under the title Kaguya-sama: Love Is War? The series will be adapted from the manga series of the same name, written and drawn by Aka Akasaka. The information was shared on October 19, 2019. The crew and cast members came back to play their previous roles.
Although its global debut took place earlier than its broadcast in Japan at the Anime Festival Sydney on March 8, 2020, the second season began airing in Japan on April 11. It continued through June 27, 2020, on the same channels as the first season.
The opening theme for the season is “Daddy! Daddy! Do! feat. Airi Suzuki” by Suzuki, and the closing theme is “Kaze ni Fukarete” (lit. “Blown by the Wind”) by Haruka Fukuhara. Both of these pieces of music serve as the season’s theme music.

During the special event titled “Kaguya-sama Wants to Tell You On Stage,” which took place on October 25, 2020, it was revealed that a third season of the show and an original video animation would be produced. The original video animation was included in the twenty-second volume of the manga, which was published on May 19, 2021.
What other activities do the students consider role models at Shuchiin Academy participate in? Following their time in the pool, Kaguya Shinomiya and Chika Fujiwara go to the showers to clean up. The two of them find themselves in a precarious situation when Chika spills a bar of soap on the floor by mistake.
Meanwhile, Miyuki Shirogane and Yuu Ishigami investigate a pornographic magazine thrown away. They find that the magazine’s content has an eerie similarity to the other student council members.
After some time has passed, Chika and Miko Iino begin a grueling fried rice cook-off to determine who on the council is the true master chef. These outlandish events expose a side of the student council that has never been seen before, and they do it hilariously!
The third season of the Japanese anime series Kaguya-sama: Love Is War will premiere in 2022 under the title Kaguya-sama: Love Is War – Ultra Romantic. The series will be based on the manga series of the same title, created by Aka Akasaka and drawn by the same author.
During the special event titled “Kaguya-sama Wants to Tell You On Stage” on October 25, 2020, it was revealed that production would begin at that time. The season broadcast from April 9 to June 25 of the following year, 2022, and included returning crew members and cast members.
The opening theme is “GIRI GIRI” by Masayuki Suzuki featuring Suu from Silent Siren, and the closing theme is “Heart wa Oteage” by Airi Suzuki, which translates to “My Heart Does Not Know What to Do.” “My Nonfiction” is the title of the closing theme song for episode 5, and Makoto Furukawa and Konomi Kohara perform it as their characters, Miyuki and Chika, respectively.
The song “Sentimental Crisis” by Halca served as the closing theme music for the season finale, which was broadcast on June 25 as a double episode.
